OMG, I can’t wait to share with you all how I earn money with Swagbucks. However, I want to put it out there that this blog post is not sponsored. I will include some Swagbucks links throughout this post. If you want to sign up for a Swagbucks account after reading this post, I would love for you to click any of the links below to sign up.
I joined Swagbucks back in December 2018. To date, I’ve earned 49,082 Swagbucks (or around $490.82).
Swagbucks is a popular rewards site where you can earn free cash and gift cards for using their search engine, answering online surveys, watching videos, playing games and shopping online.
Are you looking for an easy side hustle?
Want to know how to make $125 on a monthly basis from the comforts of your home?
Well, come on down & get in line. I’m going to share with you how I make $125 a month using Swagbucks.
What is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is a survey site (one of my favorites btw) that I use on a daily basis. I’ve signed up back in January 2019 and I didn’t take it seriously. However, when I found out that I was pregnant in April, I decided to try it out again and since then I’ve made $503.60 from the site.
Since I am on a journey to be debt-free, I wanted to be able to splurge on those things that make me feel good such as a mani and pedi/a monthly visit to the salon and an occasional visit to my favorite restaurant WITHOUT having to worry about how to pay for them.⠀
Is It A Scam? Is It Really Legit?
Swagbucks is not a scam – it’s 100% legit and safe to use.
I did some research and I learned that Swagbucks is a subsidiary brand of Prodege, LLC. Prodege, LLC is an internet and media company that owns and operates Swagbucks, MyPoints, ShopAtHome and InboxDollars. Prodege, LLC has received an A+ ranking from the Better Business Bureau.
To date, Swagbucks has already paid out over $355,187,514 in cash and free gift cards. Put cash back in your wallet. Join for free today.⠀
Before I committed to signing up for this site I did my fair share of research. I want to ensure that I was not signing up for something that sounded too good to be true! According to Trustpilot.com, Swagbucks had a rating of 8.3 out of 10. I consider this to be fair enough considering 13,514 had left reviews about this site.
What Are The Pros and Cons
Swagbucks, in my opinion, is hands down one of the best survey sites on the web! It’s so easy to make money, it’s crazy that more people aren’t privy to this.
Lately, I’ve had to defend why I use Swagbucks to a few skeptics. All rewards sites have their pros and cons but in the case of Swagbucks, I believe the pros outweigh the cons.
I can only provide input based on my experience so I hope that my opinion holds a lot of weight!
Pros
- Free to sign up – no credit card required!
- If you want to quit Swagbucks you can cash out your earnings in the form of a gift card.
- More than one way to earn points.
- Earn passive income – this can be a side hustle!
- The company has paid out over $355,187,514 in cash and free gift cards.
Cons
- You will not earn enough money to replace your day job.
- Not available in all countries.
- Some points are not loaded immediately, it may take a few days or weeks to receive your payout.
Companies love getting feedback from their consumers. In fact, if it weren’t for us, they wouldn’t be in business. Many companies use survey sites to get valuable insights into areas such as target markets, product feedback, customer responsiveness and loyalty, understanding buying habits and brand awareness.
As a way to reward you for your time, they’ll give you cash or perhaps FREE gifts cards for providing your feedback. This is a quick and effortless way to make extra money online – the best part is it’s free and extremely easy; ANYONE can do it.
How Does Swagbucks Work?
SB’s are earned by completing the following tasks online:
- Searching the Web. By using the Swagbucks search bar you will can SB’s. If you like, you can avoid Bing and Google and use Swagbucks to earn additional SB’s. Download their search bar and make it your primary search bar.
- Surveys: Easy way to gain SB’! Note: before you take the survey; the system will check to see if you qualify based on their criteria. If you do not qualify for the survey, you will receive 1 SB for your time. Depending on how far along you get in the qualification stage you may receive 1 SB for every minute you put into the survey. The time duration for the survey’s vary. You can see the payout of each survey before you agree to start.
- Videos: Watching videos is another way to earn SB’s. The videos are short, I don’t recall them being any longer than 90 seconds. You can earn the videos are very interesting. They’re about pop culture, upcoming movies & awards shows, etc.
- Online Purchases – You can use Swagbucks to make online purchases. Click the section that says “SHOP” and browse through the stores to find the one that you want. You are then redirected to the store’s site to proceed with your purchase. Depending on the payout percentage, you will receive a certain percentage of SB’s based off of every dollar of your purchase. This is a quick and extremely easy way to rack up on Swagbucks.
If you download the SB Answer app, you can get 2 SB’s for every receipt you take a picture of and upload into their system.
There are so many ways to earn SB’s on their site, you should always walk away with something.
How much can I really make?
As I mentioned earlier, Swagbucks don’t quit your day job. Swagbucks is not paying out like that – if they were, they probably wouldn’t have enough money to keep their business afloat!
Depending on how much you put into it, you can make a decent amount.
The screen shot below shows you exactly how much money I’ve earned since December 2018 with Swagbucks! The amount shown in the upper right corner shows you how many SB’s I’ve earned over the lifetime of my account. The dollar amount in the upper top corner shows that I have yet to cash out my Swagbucks. I’m earning SB’s to pay for nursery furniture for my baby’s upcoming arrival.
For me, my goal is to generate passive income through Swagbucks and use the money to pay for groceries and fuel for my vehicle (after I purchase nursery furniture for baby).
Right now, my goal is to make $125.00 a month. That is equivalent to 12,500 SB’s. If I break it down further – that’s earning 500 sb’s a day for 25 days.
Final Thoughts: Is Swagbucks is really worth it?
Back to the question at hand, is Swagbucks really worth it? Yes! You can use Swagbucks to make money or to get free gift cards online. I personally have made $125.00 a month, however, there are other users out there who have made $500 per month.
I hope that you will make good use of Swagbucks! Use their search engine, install the swag button and most importantly taking advantage of the double point days. I’ve earned 1000 points in one day from taking advantage of the double point days.
