Last year, I was desperately searching to find a solution to my grocery budget dilemmas. I’m a newbie to the debt-free community and I’m drastically searching for ways to scale back. This app is amazing! I literally use the Ibotta app every time I go shopping. I receive cash back on qualifying items and I do not have to clip coupons!

This is How Ibotta Works

Ibotta allows you to get cash back for purchases made at Walmart, Target, Costco, Walgreens and more. Your cash back will be deposited into your Ibotta account within 48 hours of your receipt scan. You can transfer your money from your Ibotta account to PayPal, Venmo or you can place the funds on a gift card.

Once you have created an account through the Ibotta app. Next, select the stores you would like to see offers for.

Once your profile has been set up, you will start to see suggested offers on the home page. You can see more offers by clicking the icon of your favorite store. Once you find an offer that you like, press the “+” sign to add the offer to your account. There may be occasions where you will have to watch a short ad before the offer is added to account. To see all of the offers that you have saved, select the My Offers section.

Once you have the offers saved under your profile, GO SHOPPING! Yes, it’s that simple. If you’re anything like me you’d make this app your best friend!

There are three ways to earn money with Ibotta.

• Scan/Upload your receipt or Scan the QR code into the mobile app.
• Connect your store’s loyalty card to your Ibotta account. FYI – it will take Ibotta 48 hours to review your purchase if redeeming offers under this option.
• Use cellular phone to complete mobile in app purchases.

How To Redeem Your Money from Ibotta?

Once you return home from your shopping trip, upload your receipt to the app. The app will match the items you’ve purchased with the items that appear on your receipt. Once you have submitted your receipt, money will be saved to your account. The money will sit there until you decide to cash out!

Yes, it’s that simple. Clipping coupons is not a requirement. Oh – did I mention that you can use at Ibotta multiple retail stores? #winning

How to claim the $20 Ibotta sign up bonus?
