Hi Everyone! Welcome to my blog Coin Countin Mama! This introductory post is a quick and easy way for you to learn about me. Would you believe it took me almost two weeks to narrow this list down to 25 interesting facts? LOL. Initially, I wasn’t sure how to go about creating this list. After about 15 minutes or so I found myself adding additional items here and there.

As I stumble across new blogs, the about me page is the first page that I gravitate towards. Before I read their blog, I want to learn about the person behind the blog.

Without further ado, I present to you 25 interesting facts about me.

1. 1. I am 5’1 (and a half).
  2. I am a new mommy – I had my first child last year.
  3. After high school, I went off to college and I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  4. One year after graduating from undergraduate, I decided to go back to college and now I have a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance.
  5. I’m interested in pursuing a Doctoral degree.
  6. I have never lived outside of the State of Florida – However, I was close to moving to Washington, D.C. a few years ago.
  7. I do not like riding on elevators that make creaking noises – it freaks me out.
  8. It’s hard to go to the movies – regardless of how great the movie is – I always fall asleep.
  9. Team Android – I can’t leave home without my phone.
  10. I drive a Honda Civic – currently on my 3rd one. Cant seem to purchase anything else.
  11. Target is my favorite retail store of all time – I can never walk out of the store empty-handed.
  12. I love shoes (esp. high heels) – I burned my feet two years ago and haven’t worn heels since.
  13. I’m a makeup girl – but I rarely wear any.
  14. I have played three musical instruments – the violin, the clarinet and the piano.
  15. I sing in the shower when no one is home.
  16. Ziplining, Horseback riding and swimming with dolphins is something that I’ve never tried but always wanted to do.
  17. Can’t swim – but I enjoy going to the pool.
  18. Organization is my forte. Especially the kitchen cabinets & pantry – I secretly get mad when it’s out of order.
  19. Two years ago, I burned my feet with boiling hot water. I could not walk for 8 weeks.
  20. I wear glasses – I can only see the giant “E” on the optometrist’s eye chart. Everything else is a blur.
  21. My preferred soda of choice is Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
  22. I am an early riser – I can go to bed late and I always manage to wake up prior to 8 am.
  23. Public Restrooms are atrocious – I’ll hold it.
  24. The sound of rain tapping on my window is very relaxing – I could sleep all day.
  25. I am a DIY & arts and craft project type of girl.
